Derived from the Latin raptus, meaning “seized or carried away,” rapture represents ecstasy and captivity at once.

ENRAPTURED explores surrender to a force perceived as greater than oneself, promising transcendence while leading toward an unknown horizon. The same force that carries someone away can hold them hostage, mirroring the paradox of dependency.
